I would like to express my gratitude to Bice Builders for the outstanding job they did renovating the main floor of my home while I lived downstairs over a 5 month period. Instead of being stressed out with the dust and noise I was pleasantly surprised at how little it all affected me because of the way the whole project was handled and the great relationship that developed between the builder and myself. I respect the honesty and integrity of Bice Builders and the manner in which they dealt with any problems or issues that would arise. They always involved me in the process and made sure that necessary changes were completed as soon as possible. I live in New York City so I thought building a new home in the Village of St. David’s was going to be a daunting task. Previous experience with building a house in St. Catharines while I lived abroad turned out to be a nightmare. So with this in mind, I went to look at Bice Builders model home in Apricot Glen and met with Josh Bice. In my opinion, apart from price, the two main ingredients for a successful building project are quality of workmanship and whether I can work with the builder. From the outset I was impressed with both. Bice Builders employs some of the best craftsmen available and the result is quality homes. I knew what I wanted and made several changes to the basic plan, all of which required major alterations. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and at a cost I thought was extremely fair. Although I was not living in the area, Josh and I communicated regularly via email and Blackberry, exchanging drawings and thoughts as the project progressed. Today, I am the proud owner of a new home which I love. Bice Builders turned into a dream what I thought would be a difficult task; nothing was too much trouble or effort. They are a team which is reliable and can be trusted. Because they are true professionals, and genuinely strive to do the best job for their clients, I would recommend Bice Builders to anyone who is considering building a new home. |

When single mom Briar Krieger moved into the Niagara region, she took some time to research and talk with builders before she chose the team that would build her home. “We moved into the region six years ago and rented in St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake,” says the 34-year-old co-owner of Balance Fitness Studio in Niagara-on-the-Lake. “I met Josh (Bice) through his wife, who worked out at our fitness studio. I found out that he’s a hands-on kind of guy, young, entrepreneurial, and since I already knew his wife, it was a marriage made in heaven.
